Buntis Diaries: The Good Vibes

Don't let the stress gets into you. This is a daily reminder for myself so I won't really have a problem regarding my pregnancy and to be healthy emotionally away from stress and negative vibes that comes my way. Oftentimes I wonder how would people react upon seeing me pregnant after our wedding. Will there be negative thoughts or positive outlook? Will they be happy just as we are happy with the news or would they start gossiping about us?
Well, we cannot control people's mind so it's either we accept it or just let it pass. But to my surprise, a lot of people I deal with were surprise to know that I got married already. They told me that I was too young but they didn't know that I am 27 already. Looks like "looks" can really be deceiving after all. Aside from this, I am not an outgoing person so people would see me once or twice a week outside our house and then get a surprise look from my bump and started asking me when I got married. Questions from "how many months" to "what gender" and also "what is the due date" are ringing. Perhaps I should be comfortable with this questions because people were asking it from to time. As much as I wanted to discuss it with them, I only share news to people whom I am really close with. I tried to answer their questions politely in some way I can also have my privacy and not discuss it too much even on my social media accounts.

I am so thankful that I always receive good compliments from each and everyone and they got excited whenever I blurt out some news about my baby. Hearing positive thoughts about my pregnancy makes me feel less worried and not stressed at all. Of course I am so glad whenever I hear them say that I am getting younger and beautiful within this pregnancy period and not that skinny at all. Though I am not that confident that I gain weight, I am still hoping that by the time I conceive I will have a healthy body and not the skinny girl I used to be. I guess the positive thoughts from people who surrounds me reflects on me physically and emotionally.

I keep myself away from stress as much as I can. I grab a book whenever I feel like sulking or talking to my friends from time to time to ease my boredom. Also, my supportive hubby who is working abroad makes it a point to call me every day or even leave a message on my wechat plus make it a habit to have a chat on me before and after his work. From the time I got pregnant, I am blessed that I didn't have any sickness even suffer from fatigue or emotional stress that some pregnant women often complaints. I can still eat whatever I want, I can still go wherever I want but I also have this limitations so I won't have complications afterwards. Needless to say, I am the only one to blame if something bad happens to me.

So I wanted to thank those people, family and friends who appreciates our blessing right after our wedding. Who's always eager to ask me my condition, my baby's result and how I cope up with my everyday routine. This really helps me a lot for having an easy and relax pregnancy even though it is my first time. Tomorrow will be my check up again and hopefully I can share the news about my baby's gender.

    1. Thanks Shayne! I just turned 27 last June :) It's really flattering when someone says that you look younger. By the time you get pregnant you'll also have questions from time to time. I really hope that things will still go well even after giving birth :)

    1. Thanks Gen! :) I also wish for a baby girl *wink*. My mom doesn't have a hard time during her pregnancy with me so I guess it runs in the blood. As long as I have friends and family around and my hubby I guess there wouldn't be much problem at all. :)
